The Truth About Bible Reading

Sadly most Christians read the Bible with an imaginary highlighter and permanent marker.

They highlight the verses in their mind, or portions of verses they agree with or like, and use a marker to black out the parts they dislike, feel uncomfortable with, or refuse to believe, as if blacking them out will somehow make those words cease to exist.

Men's Ministry

Dave has started and led multiple men’s ministries, creating life-changing programs that have helped men across the country grow personally and spiritually. He believes that most men deeply desire to be better—better husbands, fathers, sons, friends, leaders, and followers of Christ.

The challenge is that many men feel unfulfilled in their work or business, and many churches unintentionally send the message that they must be spiritual giants before they can do anything for God. But that’s simply not true. Nowhere in Scripture do we see God requiring perfection before using someone. In fact, Jesus chose ordinary men—fishermen, tax collectors, zealots to walk with Him. They weren’t bold or confident at first; they were just men who longed for something greater and eventually found their strength by putting their faith in Jesus.

Consider Moses. When God called him to confront Pharaoh, Moses resisted again and again, certain he was unqualified. Yet, when he obeyed, God’s power, not Moses’ ability, transformed history and transformed Moses into a better man of faith. Or look at Ananias in the New Testament. When God asked him to pray for Saul the notorious persecutor of Christians, he resisted out of fear. But, even filled with fear Ananias was obedient and allowed God to work through him. His obedience helped launch Paul into one of the greatest ministries in history.

The lesson is clear: it’s not about talent, skill, or personal ability. It’s about trusting God’s power. And the same opportunity is available today (read about the WE CARE card program's expansion to 100s of churches).

Maybe God is nudging you to pray for someone, encourage someone, or step into a role you feel unqualified for.  REMEMBER you don’t have to be a spiritual giant, you just need a willing heart and trust God.

Dave's experience in training and mentoring 1000s of sales people and Entrepreneurs has given him a unique insight into how people grow and change quickly when motivated correctly. The incredible fact is these principles work even more powerfully with Christian men because they can understand and accept how the Holy Spirit amplifies them. Once men discover how to let the Spirit’s power, gifts, and fruit work in and through them, everything changes. Fear, insecurity, bitterness, and even hatred lose their grip. Confidence, peace, and bold faith take their place.

This is what Dave’s ministry is all about, helping men move from hesitation to Holy Spirit empowerment, from insecurity to influence, from ordinary to extraordinary in Christ.

Christian Success Summit and Manual

A Business and Ministry Developoment and Success Summit and Manual Rooted in Biblical Principles.

The teaching and instructions in this summit and manual reflects the very framework Dave used to launch, grow, and succeed in business, without compromising his walk with God.

Why Is This Summit and Book Necessary?

Sadly, many Christians today jeopardize their faith in pursuit of success and financial gain. Too often, the resources available, whether books, seminars, or training, are filled with worldly philosophies. Some are blatantly unbiblical; others are subtle, woven in so carefully that most Christians don’t even notice.

But as Galatians 5:9 (AMP) reminds us:
"A little leaven [a slight inclination to error, or a few false teachers] leavens the whole batch [it perverts the concept of faith and misleads the church]."

Even a small compromise can corrupt the truth. Consider a gallon of pure water: just a drop of poison contaminates the whole gallon.

The Danger of Subtle Deception

Many business success programs encourage practices the Bible clearly condemns, like seeking wisdom from the dead or drawing on mystical powers. Scripture warns against this in Deuteronomy 18:11–12 (AMP):
“...a medium, or a spiritist, or a necromancer [who seeks to talk to and get wisdom from the dead]. For everyone who does these things is utterly repulsive to the Lord...”

Others use vague terms like “the Creator of the universe” or “the supreme being.”

Listeners may assume they’re referring to the God of the Bible, but often they are not. This subtle deception can lead believers to accept principles that sound spiritual but are rooted in false teaching. Some even teach that we can “tap into the universe” to manifest our desires making God seem like a wish-granter. Scripture makes it clear: there is indeed a power that grants such “success,” but it is satan himself, and the price is far greater than people realize.

All the enemy needs is a small compromise, a question, a seed of doubt. Adam and Eve didn’t need to deny God or curse Him. They simply had to doubt what God really meant. That one subtle shift led to the fall of humanity. Likewise, if we are not anchored firmly in God’s Word, we risk being slowly led astray.

God’s Will Can Be Known

Many Christians, even ministers say we can never truly know God’s will. But that is not biblical. Romans 12:2 (AMP) says:
“Do not be conformed to this world... but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove [and know for yourselves] what the will of God is— that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

God’s will is not hidden. It can be known, proven, and lived out.

Why This Summit and Book Matters

Christians deserve a business and/or ministry session or manual they can follow without fear of being drawn away from God. This information was written by someone who has not only studied biblical principles but built a proven business and ministry track record of applying them, rooted in integrity, ethics, and unwavering faith.

This is more than a summit or manual. It’s a safeguard for believers, a roadmap to success without compromise, and a reminder that true prosperity and success only comes when God remains at the center.

An Incredible Outreach Program

The "We Care" card

The Challenge:
Traditional outreach programs often left believers feeling intimidated or unqualified, requiring heavy memorization or aggressive approaches. As a result, very few participated, and even fewer completed the training.

Insight:
Dave noticed two things:

1. Every salesperson uses a simple tool to break the ice like a business card, but Christians don’t have anything.

2. Most outreach efforts were either too confrontational or too overwhelming for everyday Christians.

Solution:
Dave created the “We Care” card, a simple, non-threatening way for any believer to show compassion and open the door for prayer. The card read:
"At some time in everyone’s life we face struggles with health, finances, or family. You don’t have to go through it alone. We at ABC123 Church want to pray for your needs."

How Dave implemented the initial program:

  • Launched with a one-day outreach event.
  • Surprisingly 40 individuals signed up (compared to only 8 in the church’s 12-week program, with 3 finishing). The next month over 60 people showed up because of the excitement of the initial 40 people and that was on a cold blizzard Saturday monring in Chicago.  (I truly believe people want to do something for God, and they WILL,  IF they are given the right option).
  • Teams went door-to-door in pairs men/men, women/women or married coules with envelopes containing WE CARD cards, prayer slips, pens and maps. Try to partner up a more reserved person with a more confident person so they can build their confidence and expand their comfort zone. Do NOT push them.
  • Instructions: Dave spent about 30 mintues before everyone headed out to cover basic elements. Such as, introduce themselves in a friendly way, hand  the person the card and ask them if they would please read it "when they have time" (knowing the majority of people will open it up right then). If they mention they might have a  prayer need, if the people are confident enough offer to pray with them, if they aren't confident enough ask them if they would like to fill out a prayer request form and they will bring it back to the church. Non-threatening, not pushy, no debates and no pressure. The people going out can take things at their own pace.

Results:

  • Dozens of prayer requests began coming in weekly via cards, and Dave even set it up so it could be used via texts, emails, and calls.
  • New visitors to the church steadily increased.
  • Members who had never done outreach began handing out cards in daily life, at restaurants, stores, when visiting family and workplaces when appropriate.
  • The program spread online, with members posting and sharing the message across social media.

A Lesson to be learned (or remembered if forgotten).

After seeing the results, Dave set a goal to have 10 churches using the WE CARE card outreach program by the end of the year.

However, a few days later, he felt very uncomfortable about approaching churches, but he didn’t know why.  After days of praying he felt a strong nudging to have 100 churches using the WE CARE card program by the end of the year. In Dave’s mind this was impossible; he didn’t know 100 friends in different churches to call to introduce the program to. THEN, it was like a bolt of lightning. It was God telling Dave that the problem was he was trying to accomplish this using his own skills, abilities, talents, and resources and not relying on God. Dave remembered the numerous times he would stress that same thing to Christians.

After praying about it for another day or two, he decided to just start calling Christians he knew in other parts of the country and ask if “they” had any ideas.  God, being God, immediately opened a door. One of his first calls he made said they really liked the WE CARE card program and would present it to his pastor. A few days later, the pastor called and asked if it was ok if he presented it to the pastor’s conference he would be speaking at in a few weeks, with hundreds of pastors in attendance.  I said yes, but could he somehow get an idea of how many pastors would be implementing it.

The pastor called a few weeks later and said over half the pastors in attendance raised their hand that they would be implementing it. That’s over 100 churches.

Then a few days later one of the other calls Dave made to a friend out of state called and said he presented the information to his pastor and he liked everything about it and their church has a childrens home that is financially supported by hundreds of churches in the southeast part of the country and he would like to send them an email about the WE CARE card.

Within months, the approach was adopted and used by hundreds of churches.

Then Dave started emailing other friends from around the world and received emails their churches would be implementing the WE CARE card program.

Key Lesson 1:
Most Christians want to serve God but need an approach that feels simple, caring, and achievable. By removing intimidation and replacing it with compassion, the “We Care” program turned reluctant members into active witnesses and multiplied its impact globally.

Key Lesson 2:

It’s not about YOU! It’s not about your skills, abilities or talents. It’s about you being sensitive enough to the Holy Spirit to hear his voice, feel His nudge, sense His direction and be OBEDIENT, so God can work through you as His vessel on earth.

The Fact is: Ordinary men and women "with" a miraculous God equals unimaginable results!
